The Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of two revolutionary cadres who laid down their lives for the cause. In a condolence message issued by Bangkim, Assistant Secretary, Publicity, the outfit mourned their loss and extended solidarity to their families and comrades.
On March 25, 2025, in an armed confrontation with the Indian Army and its allied forces, two brave revolutionaries—Lt. Angom Sanatomba @ Engo (37) of the Meeyamgi Yaol Lanmee (MYL), the military wing of KYKL, hailing from Phayeng Mayai Leikai, and Lance Corporal Maibam Naotonba @ Naatngakpa Meetei (18) of PREPAK (Pro) from Serou Makha Leikai—made the ultimate sacrifice for the revolutionary cause.
The RPF and its armed wing, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, relatives, and comrades of the fallen cadres. The outfit honored their unwavering commitment, stating that their sacrifices would be remembered as a guiding force in the struggle for Manipur’s sovereignty.
The RPF reiterated its resolve to continue the movement with renewed determination, ensuring that their sacrifices would not be in vain.
