Proscribed Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) today condoles the demise of its cadre identified as Sergeant Major Ranbir, real name Moirangthem Khoibi , son of M. Chandra and M (Ongbi) Thouranisabi of Arapti Lilong Mapan. In a press statement of the outfit, said that Major Ranbir passed away on August 8, 2015 due to an illness.
The statement further added that Major Ranbir associated with the party since 1989 with the Finance department of the outfit. He was arrested by Manipur Polic in December 1991 and was kept at jail till 1992 June. Later after his released, he actively joint the outfit and served at Division 4 unit 8 till 2007.
The RPF and its armed wing PLA observed condolence function at all its party unit, said the statement.
