RIMS organized 12th Free Medical Camp

Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, in collaboration with the Unified Peace Coordinating Committee Kumbi, organized 12th free medical camp for internally displaced persons at Kumbi Sandong Upper Primary School in Bishnupur District today. The Non-Teaching Employees’ Welfare Association, under the supervision of RIMS authority, played a crucial role in coordinating a series of free medical camps across different locations in Manipur.
During the camp, Dr. W. Ranbir Singh, President of the Non-Teaching Employees’ Welfare Association (NTEWA), stated that RIMS plans to organize more free medical camps in the future to provide healthcare assistance and support to internally displaced persons in various relief centers throughout Manipur.
A team of specialized doctors from different departments, including Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dermatology, Clinical Psychology, Orthopedics, and Paediatrics’, offered treatments and conducted health counseling for approximately 700 patients during the free medical camp. In addition, free medicines and sanitary pads were distributed to all the patients in attendance. The event was also attended by nursing officials, staff, and officials from RIMS, Imphal.
