RIMS observes Yoga Day

Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, (RIMS) Imphal observed International Day of Yoga today i.e. 21st June, 2018 at Jubilee Hall, RIMS, Imphal. The event was attended by Prof. Ch. Arunkumar Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital, Imphal, faculty members, officials and staff of the institute that included an overview of the benefits of yoga and demonstration of its importance.
 The programme was properly arranged to spread awareness of yoga in all aspects, both for the uninitiated as well as the practitioners. Overall, the event was well received and served to highlight the importance of yoga, as a part of a healthy all round regimen.
