Imphal, Aug 18:
The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal, organized a week-long national anti-ragging from August 12 to 18 with special activities to sensitize the issue. The activities include a one-week film show on this, along with logo designing, composing slogans, poster-making, and skit performance oriented towards a ragging-free environment.
The observance concluded on 17th August 2024 with a special function in Jubilee Hall. It was graced by the presence of the RIMS Director, the Dean, Medical Superintendent, and Principal of the Dental College, along with faculty members and students.
Prizes were distributed to the winners of different competitions organized in the week-long programme. The Director, RIMS, made an appeal to the students to make the campus free of ragging and ensure a safe and healthy environment to one and all. The programme was, in fact, a campaign to make the students believe in a ragging-free campus and ensuring good health to them.
