RIMS observed World Health Day and Swachhta Pakhwada

The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences,  Imphal observed World Health Day and Swachhta Pakhawada at Kameng,  Imphal West today under the supervision  of Medical Superintendent Prof. Ch. Arunkumar Singh. The program was held in collaboration with Kameng Maning Leikai Club, Kameng as part of Swachhta Pakhwada being observed from 1st to 15th April 2019 in the institute as per guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,  government of India.  During the Swachhta Outreach Healthcare, an awareness cum workshop cum healthcamp was also organized. Prof. Kh. Sulochana Devi, Department of Microbiology delivered talk on health and hygiene and infection control. RIMS Hospital Nursing Superintendent Smt. Sh. Lata spoke and demonstrated about hand washing technique. Around  385 soaps and free medicines  were also distributed to the people who came for medical check up. The specialist doctors from Medicine, Surgery, Obst and Gynaecology, Dermatology,  Paediatric, Orthopedic, Eye,  ENT and Dentistry etc were participated in the program. A Mobile dental van with full equipments was also used for dental treatment. The nursing officials were also involved major roles in the patient care services. Principal,  Dental College Prof.  Praveen Reddy, senior faculty members,  officials, nursing officials, staff and others were took part in the program.
