RIMS observed Indpedence Day & 7 bedded ICU annexe inaugurated

The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal observed the 73rd Independence Day of India. The Director of RIMS, Prof. A. Santa Singh hoisted Tricolor National Flag at the Administrative Block of RIMS, Imphal today. The Manipur Security Services gave guard of honour. During the flag hoisting ceremony, Prof. Ch. Arunkumar Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital, all the Heads of Departments including Principal, College of Nursing, , Faculties, Chief Accounts Officer–cum-FA, Nursing Superintendent, Nursing staffs, officials, staff and students attended the program.
Later on, the Director inaugurated 7 bedded ICU Annexe in the RIMS Hospital in the presence of Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital, faculties, Nursing officials and staff.  The Director stated that this will help to solve the demand of ICU to a certain extent. The institute is in the process of procurement of at least 20 ventilators in the near future, more number of beds in the ICU will be added soon.
