RIMS Imphal invites Short Films on cleanliness & behaviour change; Win up to Rs. 20,000

The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, is organizing a State-Level Short Documentary Film Competition on the theme “Cleanliness, Responsibility and Behaviour Change” as part of the observance of Swachhata Pakhawada 2026, being conducted from 1st April to 15th April, 2026.
The competition aims to promote public awareness on sanitation and its critical linkages with public health by encouraging participants to present impactful and inspiring stories through the medium of documentary filmmaking. The initiative aligns with the objectives of Swachhata Pakhawada, which emphasizes behavioural change and the adoption of healthy sanitation practices across communities.
The documentary films should be of 4–5 minutes in duration and must adhere to the prescribed technical specifications, including Full HD resolution and English subtitles. Entries should demonstrate relevance to the theme, originality, factual accuracy, and effectiveness in conveying the intended message. The best films will be awarded cash prizes of Rs. 20,000, Rs. 15,000, and Rs. 10,000 for the top three positions, along with two consolation prizes of Rs. 5,000 each. Certificates of participation will be awarded to all valid entries.
Interested participants may submit their entries online through the designated portal at https://freeflynortheast.com/rims-short-film-competition or at the office of the Nodal Officer, Kaya Kalp/SAP, RIMS, Imphal.
