General Out Patients Department (OPD) of the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Imphal is all set to resume from December 28, 2020.
A statement by the medical Superintendent of RIMS, Prof. H. Priyoshakhi Devi said that General OPD of RIMS Hospital will be resumed from 9 am to 1 pm on all working days along with speciality clinics with effect from December 28 , 2020 with practice of social distancing norms and other safety precautions.
The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by the Director RIMS held on Dec. 4 afternoon at the conference hall of Jubilee Hall RIMS.
The statement said that patients will be called per appointment basis. The appointment is to be taken one day ahead if it is not holiday or 2 days ahead if intervening day is Sunday or Holiday from 11 am to 3 pm to the hotline mobile number – 7085406468/ 6033849437/ 6033855708/ 7085406433/ 7085406385.
On the other hand the Casualty service presently running in the OPD block of RIMS Hospital will also be shifted to the old casualty block for emergency services.
Meanwhile, a condolence meeting on sudden demise of Y. Humananda Singh, Accounts Officer, RIMS, Imphal was today at 1:00 p.m. at the A-Block, RIMS, Imphal under the chairmanship of Prof. A. Santa Singh, Director, RIMS, Imphal.
The staffs of the Institute during the condolence meeting observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul and shared the sorrow and pain of the grief stricken family
