RIMS Hospital complex sprayed with solution of sodium hypochlorite

In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital, Imphal has been disinfecting hospital premises such as Doctors’ Duty Room of COVID Hospital, Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL), Isolation Ward, approach road to Incinerator etc. using sodium hypochlorite, considering the large number of people who visit these places with the support of Manipur Fire Service, Government of Manipur. Further, it will be disinfecting other locations that see crowds by using the fire brigade.
The program was initiated by Prof. A. Santa Singh, the Director, RIMS and under the supervision of Medical Superintendent of RIMS Hospital, Prof. Ch. Arunkumar Singh.  The program was participated by the members of The Non-Teaching Employees Welfare Association of RIMS, Imphal.
