RIMS doctors donated Medical Oxygen Cylinders

Many doctors of the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, RIMS, Imphal. Today Prof. Th. Suraj Singh, Head of Neurology Department handed over two Medical Oxygen Cylinders to Medical Superintendent Prof. H. Priyaskhai Devi in presence of Director, RIMS Prof. A Santa Singh, Prof. Th. Sachindeba Singh, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Prof. N. Sanjib Singh, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr. Y. Arunkumar Singh, Asst. Medical Superintendent, Prof. H. Sunanda Devi, Head of Respiratory Department, Prof. Ch. Shyamsundar Singh, Head of Pediatrics, Prof. Y. Chingsuingamba and Dr. L. Ushakiran from Department of Ophthalmology handed over one Medical Oxygen Cylinders each to the Medical Superintendent.
The Director and Medical Superintendent appreciated and thanked the doctors who donated the Medical Oxygen Cylinder during this difficult time and further stated that this donation will improve significantly in management of Covid patients in the institute. It was difficult to manage Covid patient without oxygen. It is expected that many doctors will continue to donate voluntarily atleast one Medical Oxygen Cylinder in the future.
