Prof. A. Santa Singh, Director of RIMS, Imphal inaugurated a Community Hall at the RIMS Staff Quarter Complex yesterday. During the inauguration, Prof. A. Santa Singh, Chief Guest of the function stated that such community hall is very important asset of the institute in the quarter complex and can be used for various purposes like family function or ceremony, meeting, programs etc. The Director further informed that the quarter complex including the community hall campus will be developed as suggested by the members.
Prof. A. Santa Singh also distributed gifts to those employees staying in the Staff Quarter Complex who got tested COVID positive while serving their duties during the COVID-19 pandemic as a token of appreciation for their dedicated services.
Kakam Doungel, Deputy Director (Admn.), Prof. Th. Sachindev, Head of Cardiology Department,, Jugeshwor Singh, Consultant (Civil) and Hopeson Keishing, Advisor, RIMS Quarter Welfare Association attended as president and guests of honour respectively.
