A rifleman of the 5th MR posted at Kambiron under Noney police station allegedly commit suicide by shooting himself using his owned service Carbine rifle allotted him at around 3.45 pm yesterday evening. The rifleman has been identified as Loitongbam Hari (age 43), son of late Amubi of Keinou Thongkha Mamang Leikai in Bishempur district. His body has been deposited at JNIMS morgue for post mortem. Report said that the person had some mental problem and has been undergoing treatment to psychiatrist for quite some time. Police found a bullet penetrated at his neck and two bullets at his chess.
