Potholes repaired along the National Highway No. 2 under the supervision of the PWD at Indo-Myanmar border town turn out to be a daylight robbery by those implementing the work as those so called repaired makes no difference from the earlier situation.
“The same pot holes remain and it was just a week back that some contractors repaired it”, President of All Community Development Organization Moreh (ACODOM) Thangjam Buddha Meitei told media persons.
Questioning the irresponsible attitude in rendering public service the ACODOM President Thangjam Buddha Meitei appealed to the concern department and Minister to look into the matter as soon as possible.
“As we have all knew that due to the Lock down and Curfew in the District, movement of heavy Vehicles are stopped since from the Month of April. But seeing the condition of road of the Moreh Town, the contractor who was repairing the potholes fails to maintain quality in repairing the potholes which made the road same terrible as before the potholes was filled” he added.
