Imphal, April 23: A Medical Camp was organized by Red Shield Division at Nungong village under Bishnupur District on 23 Apr 2016. The camp was managed by 2/5 Gorkha Rifles (Frontier Force) of Loktak Brigade. The camp was headed by Medical Officer along with Nursing Assistants of the Battalion to address health as well as hygiene problems of the villagers.
The Medical camp was attended byabout 235 villagers across Nungong, Aimol, Parengba, Bungte Chiru and Keinou villages who availed free consultation and were given free medicines and treatment. The gesture shown by Army was appreciated by all villagers, and the village chiefs expressed their gratitude.
