Imphal, June 25: Tamenglong Battalionof Senapati Brigade under the aegis of Red Shield Division conducted a medical camp at Lenglong Village under Nungba Sub-Division of Tamenglong district on 23 June 2016. Being a very remote place with no medical facility available nearby, it was a well needed requirement of the locals, as they have to travel to, either Tamenglong or Imphal for basic medical treatment. Chief Medical Officer, Regimental Medical Officer and a team of para medical staff provided treatment to the local villagers of Lenglong and adjoining areas and also advised them on various health and hygiene issues. The villagers thanked the Battalion for the same.
