Rebels suspected to be cadres of proscribed UNLF yesterday attack the troop of 20 AR (A-Coy) using Lethod Shells and other automatic weapons at Machi area in Chandel district at around 11.30 pm yesterday. Report said two of the AR personnel were wounded in the attack. They have been identified as Lance Naik D. Sonar and Rifleman T Shingka Aoa. Sonar was reportedly hit by a bullet at his left leg while Singhku was hit at his right hand.
