The Manipur University Students’ Union, MUSU has asked the Vice Chancellor and University authorities to explain the reason for the notification for re-conduct of examinations for the PhD scholars in four departments. Interacting with the media persons at the MUSU office, President Sarangthem David said the university should tell the people of Manipur why the university will re-conduct examinations for PhD scholars for Manipuri, Physics, Forestry and Environmental Science and History departments. David said re-conduct of examinations clearly shows some misconduct by the authorities. He demanded action against Head of Department of Manipuri and English departments for the misconduct
