Imphal, Sept 11: RDX weighing around 5 Kg was recovered today by labourers while digging foundation pit for construction house at Konthoujam Leikai, Tera Sayang Lambi in Imphal West at around 3.30 am today.
A team of police who were informed later collected the RDX from the site.
According to police, the RDX was found wrapped in a polythene plastic under a newly laid foundation of a building belonging to one L Somendro of Konthoujam Leikai.
With the help of VDF personnel, a team of Imphal West District police have excavated the area and recovered the RDX.
