Locals of Chandpur near Keibul Lamjao in Bishnupur district today staged a protest rally in and around Keibul Lamjao area today morning against the rape and murder of a minor girl. The minor girl was reportedly murdered after being rape and her body was found inside the campus of a private school.
A seventeen years old boy had surrendered to Moirang Police station in connection with the murder of the minor girl who studied in class IV.
Irate locals who staged the protest rally later throng to the residence of the accused and dismantle the house at around noon today.
