Qr. K. Timothy Zimik, IRS Principal Chief Commissioner (Retired) of Income Tax, Ministry of Finance (Revenue), Government of India is all set to contest the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha Election, 2024 from Outer Manipur Parliamentary constituency.
A rousing blessing program was held at Sinakeithei village on Saturday for the renowned bureaucrat and prominent personality of Tangkhul community to ensure his success in the election

Qr. John Zimiksaid that today the people of the outer parliamentary constituency have the most qualified, who is also a strong seasoned Pillar of the society chosen and selected.
“We can rely for future showdown, now it is for the people to erect this vey Pillar together to construct and build a strong and magnificent building and for the very purpose the Zimik (Mangang) clan comprising all the Tangkhul Zimik/villages had given our consent and blessings”, Qr. John Zimik.
The MP candidate aspirant, Qr. Timothy in his speech calmly said that he was born at Lungpha village but from his early life his family shifted to Sinakeithei village and that his love for the village is undeniable. He also recalled the village history told by his father when he was very young and share the congregation where Sinakeithei was formed by 20 different Tangkhul villages back in 1933. And now the village is known by a renowned visionary leader and former MP R Suisa.
Timothy further Stated that he hasa vision to be fulfilled and that after his retirement from active service as an IRS officer.He is now ever ready to sacrifice the rest of his life and comfort for the sake of the people and that he completely stands to usher,to transform our land with God given vision to be fulfilled and ask the people to help and fulfil his mission which is purely for the growth and all-round development of all the people.
Some of the Timothy Missions mode are based on good governance, Agricultural and Allied sectors, public infrastructures and utilities, Tourism and Human resource development.
The main event of the programme,” The Blessing ceremony” was pronounced by Rev. Ramyothing Phungshok Pastor SKBC. Among others, the program was attended by former ADCs of Senapati, Tamenglong, Noney. Imphal -Ukhrul, Shanao Long, Youths leaders students, Church pastor and deacons Qr. Ulysis Rungsung, Chairman Sinakeithei village, Qr. Wungnaopam Mahung vice chairman, president unit NPF Sinakeithei, Qr. V. Khamrang MESS, Worthington Mahung social worker, Qr., Ngatangmi Zimik and Pio Zimik Asst. Pastor SKBC and well wishers from the neighbouring villages were also attended in the blessing ceremony.
