Imphal, Dec 21: People’s War group – the conglomerate of KCP Tamnganba Meitei, KCP Poirei Meitei Lup and KCP (MC) Paikhomba Meitei Lup today blame the Okram Ibobi Singh Government, NSCN-IM and the UNC for the present fiasco in the state.
In a press statement signed by Poirei Meitei and Lenin Meitei, the joint body said that in their mission to achieve their goal, the Okram Ibobi Singh led state government, the NSCN-IM and the UNC are inciting hate feeling towards the various communities of the state. These people want a communal clashed between the communities of the state. In their mission to achieve their goal there is no let up in their activities to incite hate feeling among the various communities, said the statement. The joint body also termed the creation of new districts as a move for political gain by inciting communal flare up in the state. It also expressed apprehension on whether the NSCN-IM is going on with semi ethnic genocidal war.
On the other hand, the joint body also wishes the people of the state on occasion of the Christmas day and New Year day. It appeals the people of the state to lead towards a peaceful life.
