Pukhrambam Ibochouba conferred the Best News Analyst Award

The Media Incentive Thiya Home Library Trust conferred its First Best News Analyst Award to Pukhrambam Ibochouba, Chief editor, Kangla Pao for his outstanding performance in the News analysis program which aired on All India Radio every morning at 7.30 news program.
The award carrying Rs 11000, a shawl and a citation was conferred today in a function held at Manipur Press Club.
Speaking about the award, Budha Chingtham, trustee said the award was initiated to encourage such social experts for their role in directing the society through the very news analysis in such short duration.
A five member jury observed performances of the analysts for this award.
K Radhakumar Singh, IAS, M Babudhon, Retd SP, Wangkhemcha Samjai, President AMWJU, Dr A Ibomcha Sharma (IIS), Head, Regional News Unit AIR among others attained the award function.
Dr Ibomcha, News Editor RNU, AIR Imphal  delivered a talk on Broadcast journalism.
