Public curfew freezes normal life at Pallel in Chandel district

The 48 hours public curfew imposed by JAC against the killing of Moirangthem Gopal and UKAL has cripple normal life at Pallel area. The public curfew is being imposed to protest the government’s inability to arrest and punished the perpetrators who were involved to the firing incident May 5, 2015. Moirangthem Gopal was killed during the firing incident by unknown miscreants when he along with the People of Pallel area were participating a ritual procession for Lai Haraoba celebration at Pallel area. In the firing incident 4 other were also sustain injury. Following the killing of Moirangthem Gopal protest sparks in the area resulting to mass protest by the people of the area. The government had talk with the government authority and finally the protest was suspended for some times after the government assured of action against the perpetrators. A culprit was reportedly arrested from North AOC area on the following day.Various Kuki bodies also condemn the incident.

Its too much to protest.enough has been protested.yy cant wait for lil while.and one thing why should manipur media be too biased????though one died and is condemnable it was never unpovoked firing which all media houses in manipur tried to project.there was fighting from both side leading to shooting.and why conceal fact about Patsoi lynching of shaktimb driver...and burning of church and other houses???
