Public curfew affects life at Jiribam

Imphal, May 7: As part of the state wide public curfew called by Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS),  Jiribam branch of the joint committee is effectively implementing at Jiribam area today.
The 42-hour public curfew has largely affected the normalcy in the sub-division. Both government and private establishments remain shutting down owing to the curfew. Roads and streets bore a deserted look and while transport services were also suspended.
Regarding the public curfew, Convenor of JCILPS, Jiribam Branch Y Sanjib Singh appealed the government of Manipur and concerned authority to implement the ILPS related bills that were passed by the state legislative.
