Thangmeiband Meira Paibi Apunba Lup today staged a sit in protest demanding speedy inquiry of human skulls recovered from the pit of Tombisana High School.
Speaking to media persons at the protest site near DM. College Southern Gate, K.Sakhitombi, one of the protesters said that the government should take up necessary action to expedite the inquiry of the human skull to end the uncertainty of the people of the state.
It may be mentioned that various organizations namely Families of Involuntarily Disappeared Association Manipur and Human Rights Alert are also demanding a fair inquiry of the human skulls which have been recovered from Tombisana High School pit. State government had earlier taken decision to hand over the case to CBI but the decision was opposed by civil bodies.
