Protest staged demanding declaration of IRB Jamadar recruitment results

A protest demonstration was staged today at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai demanding the immediate declaration of the long-pending results of the 10th and 11th IRB/MR Jamadar recruitment examination. The agitating candidates, who had already completed their viva voce, expressed deep frustration over the delay which has stretched for more than six years.
Speaking at the protest site, one of the candidates, Khuman, stated that the recruitment notification for Jemadar posts in the 10th and 11th IRB was issued in 2018. While results for riflemen recruited during the same period have already been declared and appointments made, the Jemadar results remain withheld without any official explanation from the government.
“The recruitment process was completed years ago, and we even appeared for viva voce. Yet, despite the passage of more than six years, our results have not been declared. This prolonged delay has caused immense hardship and uncertainty for hundreds of candidates who have been waiting for a fair outcome,” Khuman said.
The protesting candidates alleged that the withholding of results reflects negligence on the part of the authorities and urged the state government to release the pending results without further delay. They argued that the continuous postponement not only undermines their careers but also raises doubts about the transparency of the recruitment process.
The demonstrators resolved to intensify their agitation if the government fails to respond to their demands at the earliest.
