Imphal Aug 24: Various types of protest in demand of implementation of Inner Line Permit System in Manipur were staged at different places of Manipur.
Womenfolk of Thoubal Thokchom Bazar, Tanjeng Meira Paibi Club, Sayang Kurao Makhong and Laipham Khunou staged sit in protests at their respective localities in demand of implementation of Inner Line Permit System in the state.
On the other hand public meetings were organized at Kontha Khabam Maning Leikai Community Hall. The public meeting was organized by Kontha women social reformation and development society and Yaipha Sindam Naharol Club, Laipham Khunou.
Progressive Youth Organization, Uripok Gopaljee Leirak and Uripok Loklaobung Toloubung Welfare Community Hall also organized a public meeting at Nagamapal Lai Eshing Chaibi, Nagamapal.
