Life attempt to MCS officer Sheikh Abdul Hakim by unknown miscreants by firing gunshot while returning from Noney where had been posting as ADC SDO/BDO on the evening of February 2 has angered many civil bodies of the state provoking many to stage protest demonstration urging the government to take immediate action against those perpetrators.
At Kshetrigao, Athletic Brothers Association Kshetrigao staged a sit-in-protest denouncing the life attempt to the MCS officer who was returning back from his office.
Some miscreants fired several rounds of gun shot to the Honda City Car which the MCS officer was travelling at around 5 pm of February 5. Report said that three bullets hit the car. The Association demanded immediate arrest of those involved in the crime.
Kshetri Iril Mapal Youth Club (KIYC) also staged sit-in-protest at Kshetri Eril Mapal area. The club expressed discontentment over the inaction of the government machinery to the incident. The club demanded immediate action to those miscreants by arresting them.
