A group of community who linked among one another in social networking Whatsapp today organised a sit-in-protest near Churachandpur district hospital morgue against 3 controversial Bills passed by the Manipur Legislative Assembly on August last year for introduction of ILPS in the state. Mention may be made that the dead body of the 9 persons who were killed in a violent protest at Churachandpur district head quarter has not been cremated till today. 125 days have passed and the government still have not initiated any negotiation to bring an amicable solution to the agitation. During the protest staged today slogans like -we want justice, Manipur down down, Long live tribal unity’ were shouted.
