Following request for organizing sit-in-protests by JAC against Anti-Tribal Bills, village authorities and welfare committees of Churachandpur district organized various protest demonstrations at different parts of the district today since morning.
A large number of people participated at a sit-in-protest held at Churachandpur district headquarters.
It may be mentioned that, the JAC requested all the village authorities of the district to organize sit-ins between 1P.M to 7 P.M on September 24.
Yesterday too, protest rally were staged at various places in Churachandpur district demanding withdrawal of the 3 Govt. Bill. Members of the JAC also burnt effigy of tribal MLAs at various places.
