Proposed NPP Singjamei Block Office defaced

The proposed National People’s Party (NPP) Office located at Singjamei Parking, Imphal West District, Manipur was defaced by unknown miscreants. It was known in the wee hour of today. 

Secretary of the NPP Singjamei Block, Leishangthem Sunilkumar while talking to media persons said that it is an irresponsible act but it cannot give any impact on the spirit of the Party and the Intending Candidate as well. It indicates that they are inferior to the Party and its intending Candidate.

He further said that such action might not be done by the gentle and responsible Candidates and their workers. Only the Candidate and his workers who have no dignity will be fixed responsibility he added. Briefing media persons at the sidelines of the proposed Party Office, the Intending Candidate Oinam Romen Singh said that it is highly condemnable. It was done to demoralise the wave of the people but the people of the Constituency supporting him cannot be demoralised, instead, it will boost up their morals. They will cast their franchise in his support. He further said that they should fight the Elections in a smooth way. Money and muscle power cannot woo the voters of the Constituency. Let the people decide their fate, Romen stated.

The NPP Singjamei Block had lodged a Complaint to the Singjamei Police Station to book the culprits regarding the incident. Later, the Police arrived at the spot and inquiry has been started. The video footage of the CCTV Camera installed nearby shops have been analysed to take the course of action.
