President of Bihari Society kidnapped

Unidentified persons kidnapped president of the Churachandpur Bihari Society yesterday evening at around 5:30 pm from Douliana Colony. He is presently staying at Rengkai road, opposite to Churachandpur Police Station. The unidentified gunmen came in a with a black Maruti Car, informed eyewitness.
The kidnapped person is identified as Ramchandra (50 years), son of Harilal Shah of Sampur village, Samtipur district of Bihar. The kidnappers are believed to be one of the Kuki rebel organizations, since the kidnapper used Thadou-Kuki dialect, said the sources. Following the incident Police conducted search operation in anad around Churachandpur district.
