The People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) has mourned the death of its armed wing Red Army cadre, Sgt. Major Valui Muivapam alias Tomba, 36, who died on October 12 after a period of illness.

In a condolence statement issued by Mangal Khuman, Publicity Officer of PREPAK’s Department of Publicity and Propaganda, the outfit expressed profound sorrow over the death of the cadre and extended its deepest condolences to the bereaved family.

According to the statement, Valui Muivapam was undergoing treatment for an illness but could not recover. He was a resident of Sanakeithel in Ukhrul district and was one of five children—two sons and three daughters of Ngathingbam, 66, and Machal, 61.

Describing the deceased as a devoted son of the soil who cherished the motherland, Kangleipak, PREPAK and its armed wing, the Red Army, paid tribute to his service and expressed solidarity with his family, relatives, friends and others grieving his death.

The statement said the outfit shared the sorrow of the bereaved family and prayed for the departed cadre’s soul to rest in eternal peace.
