Proscribed group People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) greets the people of the state on occasion of the International Justice Day.
In a press statement, signed by LeibakNgakpa Luwang, Assistant Secretary, Publicity and Propaganda, PREPAK, the outfit said that the day reminded us about establishment of military tribunal by allied force to undergo trial to those who committed crime against humanity at Tokyo and Nuremberg after World War 2. The statement said that the trial of such crime against humanity felt the need of establishment of International Criminal Court (ICC). The foundation for setting up of International Tribunal of genocide was set during a meeting of the united nation General Assembly held on December 9, 1948 under the theme Convention o the prevention of the Crime and genocide.
While narrating the history of how the International Criminal Court (ICC) came into being the PREPAK statement said that various form of crime against aggression Genocide, War crime and Crime against Humanity are being committed here in Kangleipak. Revolutionary cadres including civilians are being slaughter in the name of counter insurgency.
The statement said that even today security force had killed a student who had participated the democratic protest for introduction of Inner Line permit System in the region.
The PREPAK said that it believed the statement of the UN high Commission for human rights which said that one day the crime committed against the humanity will be let known by everyone. It said the crime being committed against the people of the region will not let go un-notice.
