PREPAK clarifies

The People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) has denied any connection with Laishram Bishal alias Naocha, 29, of Mayang Imphal, who was reportedly arrested by a combined team of Manipur Police’s Imphal West and Thoubal district CDO teams on October 5 on suspicion of recruiting new cadres for PREPAK.

In a statement, PREPAK Publicity Officer Mangal Khuman said Bishal, son of L. Brojen Singh, has no association with PREPAK or its armed wing, Red Army (RA), in any capacity.

The statement alleged that the police claim linking Bishal with PREPAK was baseless and without supporting evidence.
