Imphal, Oct 10: Proscribed group PREPAK celebrates 37th Raising Day at its Central Headquarter on October 9. In a press statement by Leibakngakpa Luwang, Assistant Secretary, Publicity and Propaganda, PREPAK, the outfit said that the day is also celebrated by its General Head Quarter (GHQ), Tactical Head Quarter (THQ), Unit Head Quarter (UHQ), transit camps and training centers. In a simple function held at CHQ, chairman of the outfit elaborated on the changing face of the revolutionary movement. He also stressed on how the colonial forces has been giving impact to the revolutionary movement of the region. He said there are up and down to the movement of the revolution but appealed his fellow cadres and officers to stand tight until they reach the goal.
Organisation secretary of the outfit recalled on how the erstwhile nation state Kangleipak was annexed by the colonial India. He said people of region need to culminate the sense of nationalism.
On the occasion the camp commander of the GHQ hoisted the seven colour flag and paid revolutionary gun salute.
The outfit also extended its heartfelt gratitude to the media fraternity of the state for carrying the message of its chairman on occasion of the Raising Day celebration.
