Troops of 8 Assam Rifles of Kangchup Post apprehended one PREPAK cadre from Lamsang Bazar at around 12:30 am today.
The apprehended cadre has been identified as Leitanthem Thoi @ Caliber (29) s/o Leitanthem Yaimachao Singh of Lamsang Bazar, Touthong Mamang Leikai, Imphal West District.
At around 1:25pm, LeitanthemThoi @ Caliber was handover to Lamsang Police Station.Under 5(1)2016 LSG P/S 17/18P/20 UA (P) Act, an FIR have been registered.No arms were recovered from Leitanthem Thoi @ Caliber when he was arrested.
