Pangal Political Forum (PPF) today said that it endorses the 24 hours’ general strike called by the JAC against the brutal killing of Md. Lukaman since the midnight of 19th March.
Speaking to Imphal Times, co-convener of Pangal Political Forum, Ruksher Chowdhury said that the government should identify the killer of Md. Lukaman who was found dead at Heingang Ahallup on March 17.
The 24 hours general strike called by the JAC largely affected normal life in many areas inhabited by Meitei Pangal. Large number of supporters hindered movement at Keirang, Heikrumakhong, Thoubal Moijing, Keirao, Khergao etc. However, the bandh was not effective in other parts of the state.
