Portion of beam joining of Jiribam 20-bedded hospital building collapsed

A portion of beam joining around 2 feet in length at the female ward of Jiribam 50-bedded hospital has been collapsed in last night at around 8 p.m.
After getting the report, while the media persons rushed to the spot it was found, the joining of two beams was mended by rhino board. However the rhino board could not bears the loads of concrete debris  which was left at the time of construction.
The debris, comprising mostly of large chunks of concrete, bricks and  plastic sack scattered at the floor.
Fortunately, while the incidents occurred no patients  was under the portion of the place where it was collapsed.
Talking with the media persons, a  family member of patient L. Harikumar Singh said two days ago a portion from the celling plaster of the room was also collapsed and fall down at the floor but the authority remains blind eye even after complaining to them. He appealed to the authority to look into the matter before any incidents take place.
