Imphal, June 29: Food Security Cardholders of Sheijang under Lamlai Police Station have staged sit-in-protest demonstration at Public Playground of the locality against the politicization of ration distribution in the area.
One of the protestor said that distribution of rations under the National Food Security Act in the area is conducting in a partial manner; none of the beneficiaries received their due rations fully.
In this connection a JAC has been formed and served the concerned officials and fair price shop owners to distribute the allotted ration shares on or before July 1.
