Police Transfer Policy from April 1

Imphal Feb 19: Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, who is also in charge of Home department today said that transfer policy for Manipur police will come into force from April 1 this year. This was stated in reply to a question by MLA K Ranjit Singh.
He further added that there will be no difference between women police and male police in the transfer policy neither it will have separate formalities for officers and those serving at the power rank.
“The police covers all rank and files”, Biren said.
He further added that in case lady police there might be relaxation as per their need however no special provisions will be there for male and female police separately.
The Chief Minister who is also the leader of the house however said that in some special case of highly train personnel in any specific field like handling of legal matter, investigation etc. the department may considered utilization at appropriate places.
