Police constable selected body relaxes bandh for AIPMT candidates

Imphal, July 23: Successful candidates of the Manipur Police Constable recruitment test, who had announced 24 hour Manipur Bandh tomorrow demanding appointment order today said that the general strike will be relaxed for those candidates appearing the All India Pre-Medical test (AIPMT) tomorrow. The selected candidates body however said that there is no change to the bandh called and the series of agitation by the body in connection with their demand. This was stated by one Laimayum Nandakishore, a representative of the successful candidate’s body in a press meet held today at Manipur Press Club.
Nandakishore further said that the recruitment test selected candidate will continue their agitation unti their demand are meted and appealed the people to support their cause.
