One Assam Rifle Jawan was reported killed in fierce attack carried out by suspected cadres of PLA near Kangpat village under Kamjong PS in Kamjong dist at around 5 am today morning. A report identified the deceased rifled man as one Subash Singh of C/31 coy of Assam rifle. It added at least 3 personnel of the Ar were injured in the attack carried out by planting IED.
Meanwhile 38 AR Battallion apprehended TPLA Self Style chairman C in C Nekholean Lhouvum along with four cadres from general area Songbem and Gunphaibung. The recovered weapon included AK rifles and other ammunitions.
