People of Manipur will say ‘bye-bye Biren’ in 2022 and the Nation will say ‘bye-bye Naren’ in 2024 – Jairam Ramesh

While the CLP leader Okram Ibobi Singh questions the development works taken up by BJP MLAs and Ministers who are ruling the state, AICC observer Jairam Ramesh, who is presently in Manipur today said that people of Manipur will say bye-bye Biren in 2022 and the nation will say bye-bye Naren in 2024.
Speaking on a one-day political interaction programme organised by Thoubal DCC today at its office, Jairam Ramesh who is also the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee said that during Congress government Manipur has been the real jewel of the country but in 4 and half years of BJP government the state has been converted into Money-poor.
“Manipur means the land of the Jewel but BJP has made Manipur into Money-poor”, Jairam Ramesh said.
The AICC Observer said that Thoubal is the home and fort of Congress. If Thoubal is strong, Congress is strong in Manipur, he added.
Speaking at the programme Okram Ibobi, CLP Leader said that Congress candidates can compete and fight any BJP candidate in any assembly constituency and in any aspect.
He appealed to the Congress leaders to work unitedly and at their level best to make Congress come to power.
