PDA attempting to create rift between Meitei and Meitei Pangal communities, alleges KCP (Nongthang)

The Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP-Nongthang) has alleged that the People Defence Army (PDA) is attempting to create a wedge between the Meitei and Meitei Pangal communities in Manipur.
In a statement issued by Publicity Secretary L. Kanta, the Kangleipak Communist Party (Nongthang) claimed that the People Defence Army is seeking to project revolutionary organisations in Manipur as biased, with the intention of misleading the public.
The statement urged people to remain cautious and refrain from associating with the People Defence Army, alleging that the group is engaged in activities aimed at creating social division.
According to the statement, an inquiry conducted by the central committee of the Kangleipak Communist Party (Nongthang) reportedly revealed that members of the People Defence Army were involved in illegal drug-related activities. The statement further alleged that the organisation was attempting to use members of the Meitei Pangal community to advance what it described as its nefarious objectives.
The Kangleipak Communist Party (Nongthang) stated that it would continue to keep a close watch on the activities of the People Defence Army.
