As according to the assurance given by the state government, JAC form against the killing of two labourers by cadres of KRF today accepted the dead bodies of Maibam Premananda (15) son of M. Bihari of Haorang Keirang and Moirangthem Dayananda (19) son of Birahari of Patsoi -3 and brought back to their localities with full honour and respect to performed the last rite. Our Imphal Times reporters said that as according to the desires of the family members of both the deceased, the bodies were cremated at its respective localities. However, the JAC has planned to set up a memorial site of the two at a common place. The JAC said that they agreed to suspend the agitation after the Chief Minister assured to take up action against the cadres of KRF involved to the killing of the two youths and assault of a minor boy. The JAC further said that the government has also started process for payment of compensation as according to the norms of the state government.
