The Patsoi Bloc Congress Committee, under the leadership of former minister Ak. Mirabai Devi, today organised a Signature Campaign for “Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod” at the Patsoi Assembly Constituency. The event aimed to mobilize public support against corruption and advocate for accountability in governance.
The campaign was addressed by Manipur PCC President Christopher Tilak, AICC Secretary (Manipur) K. Meghachandra Singh, and other senior leaders. Prominent participants included CLP Leader O. Ibobi Singh, MP Dr. Ak. Bimol, MLA Th. Lokeshwar, former MP Dr. Th. Meinya, former MLA P. Saratchandra (IAS Retd.), PCC Vice President L. Tilotama Devi, AICC Member N. Bupenda Meitei, and PCC General Secretaries Wahidur Rahman and W. Shyamjai, alongside senior Congress leaders W. Raikhan and K. Sonia Chanu.
The campaign saw enthusiastic participation from party workers and the public, reflecting widespread support for the movement. Leaders highlighted the need to strengthen democratic processes and ensure accountability, urging citizens to reject corrupt practices and exercise their franchise responsibly.
Speaking at the event, PCC President Christopher Tilak emphasized that the Congress remains committed to restoring democracy in Manipur, reinforcing the party’s stance against corruption and its pledge to uphold the principles of good governance.
