Imphal, April 16: Manipur Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Manipur state Labour department, Government of Manipur has failed to disclosed the details of the Whereabouts of Rs. 30,45,000/- earmarked for conducting awareness programme for the year 2016.
Source with the Imphal Times said that the said amount has been earmarked and sanctioned for conducting 29 awareness programme in different part of the state. Among them 4 each are proposed at Imphal East and Imphal West and 3 each at 7 districts (before the creation of the 7 new districts).
As per source available, members of the Manipur Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, which should worked out on where, when and how to conduct the awareness programme have no knowledge of such awareness programme conducted at any places.
As per guidelines, the said awareness programme should be conducted during the month of April and May.
