Over Rs. 2.59 crore worth Brown Sugar seized by Tengnoupal district Police

A team of Tengnoupal district Police seized brown sugar worth Rs. 2 crore 59 lakhs have been seized at around 2 am today morning.
Speaking to reporter , Tengnoupal District Superintendent of Police Th. Vikramjit Singh said that a team of Tengnoupal district police led by OC John Lamkang while checking a Mruti Alto car bearing registration number No. MN05A 9725 coming from Moreh found the huge quantity of narcotic substances.
A person identified as Md. Salim khan (27) who was carrying the drugs was also arrested.
The team also seized huge quantity of narcotics substances while checking another Hyundai Verna Car bearing registration No. WB 26R 5634. The driver of the vehicle Laljuithang Gangte (20) from Moreh Ward No. 9 Moulhoi Part 3 was also arrested.
